1 year checkup

Buggy had her 1 year checkup today and it went great! She is 75% across the board. She weighs 23 lbs, is 30 inches and has an 18 in head.

DH went with me this time. They did a toe prick to test her hemoglobin and she actually laughed at it, and wanted to play with the pin prick. Totally surprised me because she has always screamed when they did anything to her. They also gave her her mmr and varicella vaccinations and I was dreading that. However, DH held her in his lap, and she did pretty good. She cried for all of two seconds and then held her doll and gave it kisses and hugs. I'm really thinking I'm dragging DH with me every time now, because she's never done that well!

Checked her over and she's healthy as can be. Got the clear to start her on whole milk if I want as well as basically everything. Yay.

My baby is growing up, but boy am I proud of her today!

I can't believe she is already 1!!  So glad it went well!
