IUI success with low sperm count?

Hi ladies,

 

I am about to do my first IUI on Friday.  I am assuming my DH still has a low sperm count.  They didn't check yet because we are going through with the IUI and they will know at that point.  But I am worried about the numbers.  I was wondering who got pregnant with IUI and low sperm count and if so...what were the numbers?

    Our count is low, about 7mil/mL.  we were scheduled for IUI but had to cancel and got pg on our own.

    DH had a low count.  It only takes one to fertilize.  Also there are others who have high sperm count and they don't get preg.

    I don't remember the numbers but DH had poor motility and poor morphology (because of varicocele).  It took 5 IUIs but the results are in the siggy :) 

    BTW - Proxceed REALLY helped DH's numbers - it is a nutriutional supplement you can google it.

    LEFT # was DH's count, RIGHT # is what they considered "normal:

    These were the #s in June 08, and DH started taking all the ingredients in Proxeed (but generic pills) and we got pregnant after an IUI in Oct 08, I can't remember the #s they gave me when they processed the semen, but it was WAY better than this.
