Just realized that I could be on this board now...and wished I was on
here sooner for the sake of my sanity!
DH and I have been married for 8 years now and have been trying to get pregnant for 5 years. Last year we found out that my husbands swimmers were basically no living as they 'came out'. We finally decided to just do it and start our IVF cycle last month.
FAST FORWARD, after multiple injections of Lupron, Follistim, Menopur, Gonal F, and Gonalanix (forgive the misspellings), and two emergency room visits because of allergic reactions, I'm happy to report we have 19 follies, 1 of which is 22mm and the rest are 15mm and bigger. They may trigger me as soon as tomorrow! Excited, scared and worried all at the same time. Worried mostly because of the possibility of a let down. My husband will have an extraction the same day as I will; if all goes will we will have embryos. It's if they find nothing usable with my husband that I'm worried about for both of our mental sakes.
I'm sorry if this is too much info, I just don't know if it's normal to be this scared about this as I am or not. Has anyone here gone through a similar cycle of IVF with fresh tessa?
Ladies, please help before I go nuts!
Re: Newbie with a twist! :)
