My cousin is named August... not really a fan. It isn't terrible, but I MUCH prefer Augustus. 

Other 'A' names: Alistair, Aaron, Abram, Adam, Aiden, Adrian, Andrew, Atticus...

I really like August, there is a little boy at my church named August and they call him Gus and I think it fits him very well.

Not a fan. I think Augustus, or August Rush. (And I hated that movie. lol. Don't get me wrong, Freddie Highmore is adorable, but that was a sappy mess!)

 What about Adam? I love it, it's not very popular anymore, and it sounds classic.

It's nms but that's because I think it sounds like it's short for something (Augustus, Augustino, etc).

August was our boy name! I loved the nicknames of Gus and Augie.

I hate Augustus. It makes me think of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with Augustus Gloop.

My husbands great grandpa that passed last year, his middle name was August..

 

We decided to convert it to a girls name, so if we have a girl it will be Aubrynn Grace
