Baby threw up after eating eggs

My baby is 9 months old.  My mom gave her eggs today and she threw up right after...does this mean she's allergic?  Have you given your baby eggs?

eggs are heavy to digest. My guess would be it was just a little harsh on her tummy and that's why she threw up. Were there any other signs of an allergy? Red rash or bumps, diarrhea? I would try again in a few days and see what happen..but it doesn't sound like an allergic reaction.

I'll ask my mom about the other symptoms.  Thanks, I feel better after your advice.

I have read you are suppose to give egg whites till 12 months. Maybe that is why?

We had the same problem with mangoes and cinnamon, we've just been calling them a sensitivity, and we've been avoiding them and we will see what the pedi wants to do at 12m. He didn't keep them down long enough to see if there were any outward signs.

My DD did the same thing...it's just a sensitivity and I'm cutting back a little for a while...I'll still give them to her just not often and not much when I do.  As long as there were no other allergy-like symptoms more serious then that she will be fine to still have them, just watch how much   GL!
