Parenting after a Loss

Problems with Huggies??

So I was using Pampers for the longest time, but they were getting way pricy, so I switched to Parent's Choice and they work wonderfully! However, when we were on vacation I almost ran out of diapers and my mom went to CVS and bought me this ginormous box of Huggies (I asked her to pick me up a small pack, apparently that's her idea of small...) Anyway, he's been peeing out of them like crazy! They are the same size as the others and seem to fit him fine, but he woke up twice last night and from his nap just now covered in pee. What gives?? I have even been making sure that they are on him perfectly. Super annoyed.

    That sucks!

We just switched to Huggies from Pampers - we're on our first box - and they are working really well so far, even overnight.

  • You are not the first on here to complain about huggies. Seems like those with boys are having the issues. Brooke has no issues with them.

  • Emme wore Pampers for 5.5 months of her life and we switched to Huggies when the whole Dry Max issue came out. She does well in them...we haven't had any issues with them...although I will say they don't stretch as well as Pampers.

  • Well I also have a box of BRU diapers (144 of them...also from mom) so I guess I could try those. I'm giving the Huggies one more try though.

  • Hey Cora, are you making sure the "ruffles" are always pointing outwards? I'm referring to the inner ones. After I secure the tabs, I automatically put a finger into each leg hole to make sure those inner elastics aren't stuffed in. Does that make any sense at all? I started doing that when DD was a month or so, and I've had literally only two or three leaks since.
