Big giant AW: Pacifier free!

I've been dreading with every fiber of my being trying to get Tori to give up her pappy (pacifier).  When she turned two she started to only get it for naps and bedtime.  We've tried telling her they are for babies and she's a big girl, but no such luck.  We set the date for her third birthday... they were all going away.  No if's, and's or but's about it.

This weekend she stayed at my dad's Thursday and Friday.  They were having a "slumber party" so there were lots of kids.  She was so worn out and distracted she didn't even ask for it.  Saturday might she stayed with MIL.  We told her that she hadn't had one in two days, so she didn't give her one either.  She asked once and MIL told her that she didn't need it anymore.

When I picked her up yesterday she told me that she didn't need her pappy anymore.  Yay!!  She bagged them all up and took them to daycare for the babies.  It was so cute this morning when she gave them to the teacher for the infant class.  I'm so proud!  And grandmas totally rock!
