Birthday Party Question

These has been some issues lately and we have pretty much had to scrap all birthday plans. So instead of a big party like we originally planned to do, we decided to go out to lunch and then have our family come over to our house for cake and presents.

There will be about 16 of us going to lunch then coming back to our place. I am planning on having a fruit tray set out for people to snack on with there cupcakes but should I put anything else out?? We will have just gotten done with lunch.

that sounds good to me, but then again, I've had zero experience planning bday parties.

A cheese plate to go with the fruit would be nice.

if you are going to have the cupcakes, fruit and cheese, you may want to have some beverages like coffee, iced-tea, lemonade

I don't even think you need to do a fruit/cheese plate if you have just gotten back from lunch - save a step, ya know!  I would just offer drinks, cake, and ice cream.

This. I love the little ice cream cup for occasions like this.  I've seen them at Target.
