This weekend...

Papa Bear's Bride

...we went to a Derby City Roller Girls game in Lexington as they battled ROCK, the Central KY Roller Girls. We were there with a close friend of mine and her husband, a former Ref for the DCRG and their DD, who's 10, only a few mos younger than my DD. Now, this is my third child, so I started "popping out there" earlier than I did with my previous two. I've had comments from every direction how I look like I'm having twins and it's been so disheartening. Well, my friend's DD heard us talking about LO and wanted to know when I was going to have him. When I told her October, she said, "And nobody told me? You don't even look pregnant yet!"

This, coming from a girl who's seen me in my bathing suit, in tight clothes, trying to button my pants a few mos ago, crying because I couldn't fit in my old clothes anymore, etc. It was the best night I've had in a long time.
