I am set on pain liners and wetbags but I just had to try my hand at something now that Joann fabrics carries PUL. So I made some mini-liners for Jack's daycare diaper pail.
aqua PUL with orange fold over elastic (to coordinate with his "school" bag )

Good luck. Also many girls reported they were told the store didn't carry it by an employee that just didn't know what it was, b/c if they kept searching for it they did find some. Just pastels (pink, yellow, peach) and aqua and white at my store.
now that I see what they do I really don't understand why some places don't do it (except those dumb states that seriously have laws against it - grrr).
The process for CDs is almost easier than the disposables. Most of the babies have CDs so we all bring in a bucket (the ppl that use prefolds can get away with one of those large ice cream buckets - I use a 2 gallon bucket I found at the hardware store).
I didn't have a pattern. This one was a little more unusual b/c I made a circular bottom since the pail isn't very big to begin with I didn't want excess fabric. Also I had foldover elastic on hand - that is probably what your bag has but it's not necessary - you could make an elastic casing.
BUT, sewing a normal pail liner would be super easy, the ones I have are just rectangular so it would be like sewing a pillow case. youtube always has great tutorials search for casing. Basically, you just fold over your fabric as if to make a large hem, leave a little opening and thread your elastic through (attach it to a safety pin so you can feel your way) and then either tie the ends together or sew them together.
