Little man is currently sleeping! My staples came out this morning, so I am moving around better.
We had a really fussy afternoon, night last night, and morning so we'll see how the rest of today goes.
I am scared to death having a newborn home... but I guess we will all get to know each other!
Just wanted to say hi!
Re: We are home!
Yay!! Welcome to the craziness that is having a newborn! Expect the unexpected over the next 6 weeks. The best advice I have is to read or watch The Happiest Baby on the Block. Seriously - a lifesaver!
ENJOY!

One of my friends gave me this book and said it was a lifesaver for her!
Smilee - welcome home and YAY!
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
The best words of wisdom I can give you is....this too shall pass....when you are so overwhelmed you don't think you can make it one more day just remember the newborn stage is SO SO SHORT and before you know it he will be giving you longer and longer stretches of sleep and the crying will get less and less. We are so happy for you and can't wait to watch little man grow (in pics of course hehe)

Hooray for finally being home. I know you're an amazing mom!
Yay!! I'm so happy for you to have your first night together as a family at home.
Gripe water really helped our LO at first (we still use it from time to time). Also, some of the best advice I got was to let him sleep wherever it worked. For the first 6 weeks or so for us, that was in his car seat carrier. I spent the first week not sleeping at night because DS would only sleep if he were being held (although he would nap in his PNP during the day). Finally, I gave in and tried the car seat - and he slept for 3 hours straight.
Good luck, mama!
TTC#2=July 2011: Surprise BFP: Chemical Pregnancy
It is scary stuff...but you will do GREAT!!
Sleep when he sleeps, and put him to the breast whenever he even looks like he might nurse and you'll be fine!!
This, totally. I remember thinking I had no idea how I'd make it then the LOs were born.......and then all of a sudden, they're not little babies anymore, they're toddlers!
They arrived at 36 weeks after PTL and bedrest for 14 weeks.
