Redsoxbono and joesweetpea? (I think those are their screen names?) Anyone hear any updates? I think Joe was going on a trip to Europe and then there were no posts and Red I haven't noticed any posts lately.
JM, you are too sweet! I thought I just went away quietly!
I have been here, quietly lurking and supporting everyone. My hubs and I did go to Switzerland and had a fabulous time. (We celebrated my 40th Birthday as well!) We are still trying to get pregnant, but my focus has changed a bit. I am no longer doing my accupuncture, tea, blah, blah, blah. We are really putting this in the Lord's hands! August will be one year since we started trying and I am giving it back to Him! If it is meant to be, it will happen. If not, DH and I have a WONDERFUL life and fantastic nieces and nephews and kids friends to spoil.
In the meantime, I am training for the Nike Women's Half Marathon in October. So the next few months will be fun and stressful while training, but it helps me to take my mind off of the obvious: not getting pregnant.
I have been keeping tabs on all the wonderful ladies here, now maybe I will start commenting again... seeing that I am on summer break until the middle of August.

Joes...I envy you. I am a returned newbie runner, and I would love to have the ambition to train for a half. My goal is 5K at present, but the oppressive heat has curbed my training. Have any tips? Get on in here and be present. We welcome everyone. Wishing you luck.
@hav2run: I joined a running group that is a splinter group from my training last year. It is being coached by an all american Masters champ. So at first I thought I would be out of place (I am a 12 minute miler right now)! My coach is AMAZING. I also joined a boot camp 3 mornings a week for 4 weeks on/ 2 weeks off.
I started my training a month and a half ago using the Galloway run/walk method. Last week I ran 5 miles without taking a break or using the intervals. The other HUGE difference: I got rid of running with my iPod. I thought I would never do it, but I love running to the music of my own body. I make immediate changes as needed.
Also, I just started reading: Chi Running by Danny Dreyer. It is a great book and many of my training partners use this training method. I will let you know how it is going. I go for a Chi Running workshop next month.

That is so awesome about the 1/2 marathon (I wish I could run) I hope your training goes well. I joined a Masters swim team but I'm still really slow. Sometimes giving your PG plans over to the Lord is all it takes so hopefully that works for you too. I'm glad that you are back safely from your trip and had a blast. Take care and pop in every once in a while!
Thank you for this perspective! I've been noticing how absolutely crazy wound up and anxious I am getting trying to "do everything" and "know everything" and have control over this fertility thing and am thinking I need to stop and get some perspective--and maybe give control back to the one who should have it in the first place.

Oh gosh that is great advice that I have to remember myself. It's hard not to try to be a control freak on this. But reading every single thing... and doing every little trick and wives tale remedy or diet ...just gets overwhelming. Great perspective Thanks JM
