Baby in a Prius?

Does anyone drive a Prius and have a baby in a car seat? We are trying to get pregnant and are shopping for a new car. I would like to get a Prius, but I want to know how practical it is for the possibility of a car seat. Thanks!

i have a friend who has a prius and she has 2 kids. they both fit and so does their chicco double stroller

Perfect! We are planning on leasing, so I would only have it for 3 years and then I would get something larger for our family to grow into. The trunk isn't deep, so I wasn't sure what the stroller situation would look like. Thanks kchoi!

I have a Prius and have put both the infant carrier seat and now the larger carseat in the prius with no problem. The stroller and all other accouterments fit very nicely.

Hey Linz! Great! I am quite impressed by how much space there is inside. It looks small outside, but it works on the inside! I almost borrowed a friend's stroller yesterday to take it to the dealership and test it out in the trunk!

We each have a Prius (long story) and it works perfectly for all of the baby gear. I was telling Zeesbride on Saturday about all of the crap I've hauled in my Prius (30" kitchen cabinets, patio furniture, 35+ legal boxes, etc) - don't let the title of a "compact" car fool you, they're quite roomy inside and the 2010 models are even more so.

Wow!!! Cabinets! Patio furniture! I can't wait to stuff it with stuff! Thanks! I would have never guessed that it could fit so much!
