My bestfriend just had her baby...

and the baby was 10 lbs, 12 oz.... and she gave birth NATURALLY! (Well, pretty much natural. She tried to get an epidural but it didn't take.)

 I am in awe right now of people who give birth to such big babies. I can't imagine the pain. (ouch!) Plus, she was only 39 weeks.

I'm so excited though... and so excited that her little girl and my little girl will only be about a year apart.

That is awesome.  The funny thing is I know who you are talking about.  Her husband Wes graduated High School 2 years before I did.  He is such a wonderful person and I hear that she is too.

Also, having a BFF with a little girl so close really is fun.  My best friend's daughter and Allie are only 6 months apart and we love it!  It is a lot of fun!

I didn't know you are from Chatom. Small world! Wes is a really nice guy.

Hi! I'm sure you guys don't remember me b/c I haven't posted in several months however I have been a lurker!   But when I read this post I had to comment.  I am originally from Chatom myself!  When I read your post I about fell out!  Chatom is such a small town and NO ONE ever knows where I'm talking about, so to see this made me smile!  I haven't lived there in years but my Grandparents and lots of my family still do.

Eastonsmom... I've never actually been to Chatom but I know where it is and have met a lot of people there, primarily through my bestfriend's husband and his family. I bet you might know Wes. He graduated high school in 97, I think.

MissMLS...What is Wes' last name. We graduated the same year so if he went to Elementry school there I might remember him.  My bestfriend (since 1st grade) still lives there and her husband is from Millry.  Her name is Shannon Parnell Whigham.
