best birth class in Boise area...

I was wondering where is the best classes are offered, any one have any opinions...

I took one through St Lukes that I thought was pretty good... My husband said it was a waste of time and money though cause I ended up having a c-section at 41 weeks. Lol!!

I liked the one from St. Lukes too, but like PP had a c-section so I don't know if their methods worked.

Confident Childbirthing! The birth instructor is amazing and really knows everything about the birth process. You'll leave feeling COMPLETELY informed about your options and how to have a great home, birthing center or hospital birth.

 She tells you ALL of your options. I've heard that hospital classes are ok (I haven't taken one, this is just what I've heard/read) but that people still don't quite know what they are in for and that you really learn the procedures of the hospital and thats about it.

If you take Kyndal's class, you and your partner will be so prepared for whatever may happen during your birth and also what a normal birth really looks like after taking this class. It really will make you feel confident in your choices!

I definitely agree that Confident Birthing is the best class!  It is a comprehensive overview of all stages of labor and delivery and how to prepare for each stage.  I love that the instructor feels that mom and dad are a team and share the experience.  She gave excellent tips on how dad can be involved and of most support to mom during the labor and delivery.  Our  birth would not have been the same without this class and the wealth of knowledge we gained by participating.  Best wishes!

Confident Birthing is AMAZING!  The instructor is very knowledgeable and really invested in making sure you have a great birth experience - no matter which method you have (natural, medicated, cesarean). She teaches you how to ask the right questions so you are truly informed and feel empowered to make your own decisions regarding what YOU want.

She helps involve your partner in the labor and birth process and helps you both know what to expect.  After taking this class I felt prepared for labor and never felt scared.  She is also a great story teller!

Confident Birthing really is THE BEST! Kyndal gives you every possible bit of information to prepare you for birth be it natural, c-section, in a hospital or out.  She prepared me so much so that I was able to labor at home except for the last 47 minutes! It was exactly what I wanted.
