returning to work while still recovering from PPD
I am scheduled to return to work in 3 weeks and I am absolutely dreading it. I don't want to go back to work, but financially, I must. (I have always wanted to SAH when my children are young). I am starting to feel better, but I have no idea how to balance taking care of DD, dealing with my PPD,PPA and PPOCD, and return to work at a stressful job full time! I am hopeful the docs will say I need a few more weeks, and then I can continue my short term disability insurance. But there are no guarantees of that. I would love to hear from those of you who have returned to work.

The anticipation of returning to work was actually a lot worse for me than actually returning to work. DH, ds and I quickly adapted to our new routine. I don't know if postponing the return would be beneficial - just really postponing the inevitable, ykwim? Talk to your doc about how your feeling and see what she recommends.
