Sudafed PE

So annoyed at myself. I have a terrible summer cold. I knew I could take sudafed, but did realize there was a difference between that and Sudafed PE. I only took it once, but then made the mistake of googling "Is Sudafed PE safe to take during pregnancy" Let me recommend you not do that. Grrrrr

So what are you taking? I have the same issue. My dr told me I could take tylenol products so I bought Tylenol cold and it is working but you have to take two every 4 - 6 hours which seems like so much. I hate having to take anything but i have had a sore throat and sneezing for a week and I can't take it any more. I took Sudafed PE a few times too because I couldn't find the plain one.

Linds, don't stress I took stupid suppositories with hydrocortisone in them for a week and it turns out they were Class C. I had a nervous breakdown but the nurse assured me that the dose was small enough to be negligible.

This sounds so bad, so please take it with a grain of salt. But the lady I go to for waxing got KU when she was 16?with TWINS. She was almost 5 months pregnant and sitting in a VW bus smoking a joint (um, not her first) with her girlfriends when they convinced her to finally take a pregnancy test because she was getting so big. I've met both her daughters and they're healthy and smart and perfect in every way (both are in their 20's). My point is your one little sudafed will be FINE. xoxo

Jumping in a little late here but...I took Sudafed PE at least twice early in my pregnancy due to nasty sinuses headaches. I stopped taking it until I had a chance to ask the OB and she said that while it's best to try and get through the first tri as drug free as possible, there are certainly worse things people have taken so not to worry. I also take it now as I need it and only take one pill at a time (I take one wait an hour or two and if no relief then take the second). Don't get too worried about having already taken it, and I totally know how you feel after Googling it...scared to poop outta me to. lol
