 Burg, I think the food is great but I tend to agree that I dress nicely to baby showers and I don't want to ruin my make up with bobbing for apples, LOL! And Madisonh, sorry you seem to have gotten dragged in for being nice. Some people are insecure and feel the need to make fun of others behind a computer screen, just ignore them.

 This is one of the reasons I wish I had never read online forums. Without the few girls that are nice, it wouldn't be worth it. Not in a million years. Too many people want to feel big and bad when it's suppose to be about support. I'm going to friend both of you.

 Oh and I hope my punctuation, grammar, and spelling are up to par

Well, I WAS going to comment on your ideas, but after reading your responses, my focus shifted.  To answer THIS question, yes, I am an English teacher.

~A lot is 2 words

~There ARE, not there IS...subject/verb agreement, sweetie

~i=I and u=you

~You need a subject in your final sentence.  I recommend "I".

~p.s. is an abbreviation.  It needs to be capitalized.

My opinion is these ideas are awful for a baby shower. It's not a halloween party. It's a shower, not a Charlie Brown Halloween party. And while these are ideas that were given to you and not your own, as guest of honor you could certainly nix some ideas for the comfort of your guests.  Who the hell wants to bob for apples at a baby shower?  That is nuts.

And a shower in the fall for Feb baby is really early.  Isn't it way too early to think about a baby shower? Shouldn't you be focused on getting through to 2nd tri?
