Interesting FB viewing...

One of my old friends from high school is a FB friend. We're not all that chummy, but her posts are like watching a bad Duggar show or something.

She's Jewish turned born again Christian, and acts more Christ-like than Jesus himself. Every post is about the wonder and glory of her God and His Plan for them. OK, way more evangelical than I want to be, but whatever.

She's constantly posting about how wonderful it is to see her younger daughter and her boyfriend, and how fabulous it is to see their love and God's Plan working between them. They had a big photo shoot together and she's waiting for pictures.

It almost sounds like one of those arranged marriage things, and she's just thrilled that it's better than she hoped.

It would be a WHOLE lot less weird and creepy if her daughter hadn't just turned 15.

OMG.....yeah, the age 15 was a shocker!  Are you kidding me?  My DD's won't be dating....let alone dating their FUTURE DH's, at the age of 15....at least I hope they aren't!!!  What a WEIRD thing to want!!!!

Yeah I have FB friends like that.  They are so overly, I don't know, religious.  However, one I know it is just a front.  My friend has a husband whose constantly cheats on her so it is really just a mask.

Yep. She's posted pictures of Sadie Hawkins dance-- with boyfriend. 15th birthday dinner at super expensive restaurant-- with boyfriend. Not anything that I would even bat an eye at, but for the Glory of God and wonders of young love descriptions that go along with them.

I am a spiritual person, go to church fairly often, and could never post the stuff that she does. It makes her look like a real nut case.

Oh I know.  I know people at church who are like this.  It used to make me feel bad, like there was something wrong with me for not being so exstatic over everything.  Than I realized they were all nut jobs and in some cases just masking over the real problems in their lives.
