Sadly, waxing makes the electrolysis process last over even more sessions.
I have just been shaving. My hair growth is CRAZY during this pregnancy, but I just don't think that electrolysis could be god for the baby I feel your pain.
Yeah waxing is the worst thing to do. My electrolysis said she's worked on many pregnant women and they just used a different method that doesn't send a current through your body. I've been reading up on it and there are no studies that say it causes problems but who knows
I got it done while I was in the 2WW just before my BFP. Kind of made me a little worried once I found out I was pregnant, but everything seems to be fine. I'd ask your doctor just to be safe.
I was in the middle of getting it done when I got my BFP (3 sessions out of 6 on my legs) and the place I was getting it done does NOT treat pg women. There has not been enough testing to deem it safe or not. Fortunately you can go up to 2 years between treatments without losing effectiveness, so I'll pick it back up once LO is born. It MIGHT be okay, but I don't want to be the one to find out it's not.
