I forgot to buy Crisco and parchment paper Would cooking oil and foil work in a pinch for the Oreo truffles?

Skip the crisco altogehter.  It will be fine.  Do you have waxed paper?  I'd do that or just put them right on the baking sheet.

I was hoping this post would be you telling me they turned out awesome thanks to all my tips.  I am expecting that one tomorrow.

So far, so good! I decided to take it really slow and do one step per/day to ensure good results;) Thanks, again, for all your guidance!

That is the best way.  I make tons of these for xmas every year, and I do it over a 2-3 day time period!
