1. yesterday I was SO cute. Bordering on foxxy...today I am heifferly and hideous. I feel like I look just like the Trash Heap guy from Fraggle Rock. wah wah waaaaaah! it was only since having two kids that I have ever experienced pms bloating, and I DO NOT LIKE IT.
2. there have been 8 showings on my house in d-town, but not a single offer...im getting bummed.
3. my life is SO up in the air and crazy right now, i have raging pms, and im on an extended vacation visiting my parents which is DRIVING ME INSANE because they hate each other and are both annoying...
I haven't seen my H in a month + and I am living out of a rubbermaid bin...but for SOME REASON, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world...I love that about me. even when it's not enjoyable, I am crazy about my life. I really think its the drugs.
now you:
Re: 3 things-ode to bloat edition
are your drugs safe for pregnancy? if so, GIMME.
1. I do not enjoy being a SAHM the day after I was sick and up all night.
2. I'm sort of hoping my apartment packs itself for our big move. And I'm really glad I'm going to be 8m pg when we move. It means I will be expected to do jacksh*t, which is good, because I suck at moving.
3. MH was supposed to go to Denver in 2 weeks but now he might not and I'm mad because I was totally going to guilt trip him about leaving me with the kid while very pregnant and make him buy me some gifts, esp some shoes I wanted from a store in Denver. WHATEVER.
what shoe store?
I lucked out- whenever we moved last month, I lifted nothing. I did do some cleaning (minimally) and the majority of the packing however.
I hate moving.
I hate it's ugly guts.
1. My little boy just gave me a "toothpaste kiss" and that makes me smile. He used to hate brushing his teeth and it was an absolute nightmare every.single.time. Now he almost enjoys it.
2. The landscaper just left with $150 of my money because some idiot planted a tree with huge roots that broke our irrigation system and caused a leak and cracked our concrete. Awesome.
3. DS (just turned 4) is now capable of swimming in our pool all by himself. It is truly amazing. Of course, he will never be left unattended but it's nice to have some confidence in his swimming abilities. However, this is the same child who has yet to accomplish pooping on the potty. Go figure.
as long as he's not pooping in the pool...
It's just the Steve Madden store at one of the malls. I guess Denver is a test market or something so they have a pair there in a few different colors that isn't available online. The dumb thing is they are trendy, have a high heel and probably won't be worn since I'm pregnant. I still just waaaaaaaaaant them.
And moving sucks the big fat balls of a hairy monkey.
No, the effing pigeons do that. It is disgusting. I had to put out my Halloween witch, ghost and pumpkin display to scare them away.
I don't care what everyone else says about you- this information alone is enough to convince me that you rule.
Eclaires: do you ever check out this site
for cheap trendy shoes? they're so cheap.so deliriously cheap.
Im not nuts about Steve Madden, I don't usually like the way they fit...like they're always too stiff...or something. but I have noticed they seem to have more selection in the Cherry Creek Store than some othr places I have seen.
1. if we move to Denver, I'll buy your house, as long as its on the southern side of town.
2. If we move to Denver, I'll get your shoes for you E and ship them.
3. I really want to move to Denver. Reallly bad.
my house in on the northside. Highlands. (not highlands ranch- gag!)
I don't even know what's on the southside...and I lived there nearly 10 years...littleton? LOL
I think you should move there, it's very liveable. expensive and trendy, but nice for the midwest.
1. I really wish I was leaving work early today. Instead I have a 4:00 meeting. How does that on a Friday?
2. I need new clothes, but I suck at shopping for them.
3. Although I need new clothes and DH tells me to go buy whatever I want, we are SO broke, that we really can't afford me to do so. I hate this position we are in, and so wish it could change. We did the budget and determined we are in the hole every month now. Awesome.
yeah, that's the other thing usually SM shoes suck. I'm nuts - and it is the Cherry Creek store that has them.
Denver residents must be a good test market or something!
Also, now I'm looking at that site for shoes: thanks a lot!
le sigh...we were looking at the cherry creek/highlands ranch area....maybe Parker.....I'm too suburban to move TOOO close to downtown...
1. I'm so stinking proud of DD I could bust. She moved up a level in swimming because she's that awesome, and is at the same level as the 7 year old she's taking lessons with. She really is a natural in the pool. Even poops in there. BUT not yesterday. Kid finally figured it out, and I could just cry that 1)she isn't causing me The Mother Walk of Shame from the pool anymore, and 2) she's the most eager and capable kid.
2. DH has some work changes that are no bueno. Like, crazy crazy no bueno, and it scares me. He needs a new job, which would require a major move to a different state, or at least 100+ miles to stay in CA. I don't want to move or put the house up. I'm going to cry a river when we leave here, if we have to.
3. I'm so feeling the pioneer life, but with modern appliances. I made feezer jam last night with our apricots. I'm making yellow sun dried tomatoes, courtesy of the oven. And yellow tomato paste with garlic and basil from the garden. I love my garden and can't imagine not having it if we have to move. I need to start wearing my apron.
