TTC after 35

CD1, but on the positive side...

The B6 worked in extending my LP by 2 whole days!  Although 10 days was fine, it was a little too on the short side IMO - 12 is MUCH better.

Another B6 perk?  It calms the PMS.  I didn't have any crazy emotional episodes, I was less moody, and no crazy acne.  (of course the down side to this was the strong urge to POAS on 10DPO)

Another good thing, I will never ever POAS early ever again.  There's no point to it.  Ripping apart tests and seeing imaginary lines are not a good thing (could that have been my crazy emotional PMS episode?)  I will be chucking all of my blue-dye tests and sticking with the pink.  I have a "good" FRER to save, and a digital to save for confirmation.

And I don't have to back out of the 5k I promised to do with my cousin next month.  (wait, maybe that's a bad thing!)  I'm now forced to pick up on my training!

Glad the b6 helped...don't feel bad about testing early, it happens to all of us.  If it makes you feel better your testing early experience kept me from testing too early this month - I did cave at 13 dpiui.

  • Woohoo for your LP!

Don't feel badly about the early POAS.  The urge gets the best of us, and I am guilty as well =)

  • Glad to hear the B6 was so helpful, I started taking it this cycle too.  GL with your 5k.  I hate to have to look on the bright side when I don't get a BFP, but it's good to have something else to look forward to too.  KWIM?  ;-)

I'm glad your LP was extended and nice to know about the B6 helping PMS.

    GL with the 5k.

And I think most of us here are early POAS folks - it's just so hard to resist.

  • Sorry about CD1, but woo-hoo on a longer LP!

I think the 5K is a good thing!  Good luck!

  • It does sound all good (well, as good as you can get without a BFP, right)!

And as for giving into the pee stick... believe me, I know, it's wicked hard to resist (yes, I grew up in MA)!

Good luck with the 5k!  Have fun!

  • THat's great about your LP,

    Good luck with the 5K!

  • Curly how much do you take?  When I was signing my life away for our first IVF the case manager told me that 200mg of B6 also helps with morning sickness.  (hopefully we all need that advise soon!!!)

Kiki love the wicked!!!  When I lived in MA everyone made fun of me for saying hella instead of wicked!!

GL on the 5K and baby dust to all!!!
