Baby Names

Need help with middle name...

We have decided on the name Talan. I just can't think of what the middle name would be? The last name is Ozark, but I can't think of anything that really ties the two together...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

  • Yes, for a boy. I thought about the middle name "Abram", but I'm not sure If that really sounds good or not? I can't think of anything that I just love, and I feel like I should love the names I choose for him.

  • I actually like the name Abram, but put with Talan, it sounds dippy...the sounds go up and down when I say the whole thing together. Maybe it's the two syllables in every name or maybe it's because Talan and Abram have similar endings...I'm not sure. But...the initials are awesome - TAO.

  • Good thing you said it was for a boy b/c you sure can't tell from that name!

  • what about something like anthony? then you would still have the TAO

  • Anthony is cute too! I will browse through some more A names. It's not really a big deal to keep the TAO initials, but I do think A names seem to fit better. Thanks a lot!

  • With an unusual first, I typically prefer a more traditional MN, such as Talon Anthony, as pp suggested.

    Talon James

    Talon Alexander

    Talon Joseph

    Talon Matthew

    Talon Joel

    Talon Michael

    Talon Thomas

    Talon William

    Talon Nicholas

    Talon Reid

    Talon Benjamin

    Talon David

    Talon Christopher

  • Sorry, I spelled Talan wrong...ooops:)

  • Very good suggestions, thanks! That's kind of the route I took with my now 4 year old daughter. Her name is Nevaeh Elizabeth, and I still love her name. I do like the combination of uncommon and extremely common names. I like the sound of Christopher and Alexander with Talan. It's very cute.

  • I like Talen Joseph, Talen William, Talen Andrew

I am one that likes a little bit different of a first name, with a common, traditional middle name. :)

Very cool, name... I really like Talen!

  • Love Talan Kade.

  • I don't know why everyone keeps saying they can't tell the gender from the name... maybe it's because I have a friend who named her baby boy Talan. I think it's a nice, unique name and I like what other people have been saying about the initials, I like when initials spell things so maybe think about A names?
