Bloodwork results came back

Got the call from the bloodwork from weeks 12 and 16.

Negative for Spinal Bifeda and Trisomy 18.

Positive for Downs. She said they say anything under 1 in 270 is positive and mine came back at 1/215. While it isn't super far off, it is still worrisome. 

They have us coming in for Level 2 Scan on Monday. Keep your fingers crossed that everything comes back a-ok!

Good luck at your level 2.  Try not to stress too much, like you said, the number is super close.

I got very similar results.  The cut-off to get a negative screen is 1 in 220 which is a .45% chance.  My results from my 1st tri screening + age were 1 in 145 or .68% chance.  Definitely NOT the news we wanted to hear, it does make your heart stop when they say "positive". 

I hope you get great news on Monday and you can put your mind at ease.
