TTC after 35

Waiting

Hi - I am 36, have had wls (lost 146 lbs) which cured my diabetes and made me regular for the first time in years.  I took Depo for years which did not help with the weight gain.

We have been trying to concieve for 6 months ( I know not too much time).  I am 4 days late, took a digital test on Sunday (1 day early) and was neg. 2 reg tests (mid afternoon) were neg. Blood test today. Results tomorrow.

I am usually like clockwork.  This stress is making me nuts.

Fingers crossed.

Sorry if I wrote something wrong - first post here

  • congrats on the weight loss and good luck!!
  • It was negative but still no period so who knows whats up.  I read online (has all the answers you know ;) ) that sometimes if implantation is late that it can give a neg. blood test.

I have been like clockwork so my goal now is to not stress and wait (yay! - not) and see if I do eventually get my period.

I figure that in the meant time eating right and taking care of myself can't hurt!

Due to bypass am already on a pre-natal * so even that is covered.

     Thanks for all the support.

    * Bypass doc recommended it because we are TTC in addition to my normal vitamins.
