I have ups and downs with the wait. This time around (a year and a half TTC), I have been less patient, and I have taken a few cycles off from all my usual charting, temping, CBEFM, and etc just because I couldn't stand to worry all month long again. I also have good months where I see the goal clearly and work to keep going for it. I have no answers on how to stay consistently in it month after month. The 2ww absolutely drive me bonkers.
I need to find this out, too. After doing everything right this month (OPK, temping, well timed sex), I had a big temp drop this morning and am now convinced this is not my month. I'm pretty bummed and discouraged.

After 10 cycles of well timed sex and then AF....it doesnt get any easier 'sigh', the thoughts of someday having our baby is what keeps me going......and now that i have an appt for a Fertility Clinic im counting down the days!!! Good luck to us all ladies
I guess it's just the thought of this month being the month. I would take some time off if I could. but I'm turning 38 next month, and I'm really feeling the heat.
when I'm feeling really down, I go squeeze DS and tell him I love him. he's the best remedy for the blues. considering how hard it's been to conceive this time around, I'm even more grateful that he's in my life.

hhmm....let's see. I guess the end result (actually having a baby) is what keeps me motivated, overall.
If you're talking about during the 2WW, I've had good and bad 2WWs. Depends on my mood, what else we've got planned during the 2WW to help me get thru it and make it go by quickly.
Good question. I'm just starting my 2WW and already anxious. Just trying to stay busy - and try not to drive people nuts with my baby talk. It's so easy for me to get so focused on something that it's easy to forget that not *everyone* is sooooooo interested in what I'm going through LOL.
I'm getting my baby fix tomorrow, though. My neice has the most gorgeous son and I hi-jack him every chance I get.

This is a really good question. I know my faith keeps me motivated - I would be a basket case if I did not have the Lord who continues to give me a peace that I cannot explain. Of course, that does not mean I don't have my moments - boy, oh boy, I do!!! But when all is said and done, I believe that everything will work out how it is supposed to.
