embroidery work

i'm looking to get a couple things done for my son's first birthday... does anyone know of someone with an embroidery machine here in the city that would be willing to do this? or (hopefully) do any of you ladies do this? i can provide all the materials, i just need someone to actually do it, and etsy is just outrageously priced. argh. frustrating.
