I am officially throwing in the pumping towel. The way I see it, 6 months of pumping x 2 babies = 1 year of nursing...right? Kidding! But for real, where do you formula feeders buy your formula if you get it in bulk. We would prefer the ready to eat kind, but are open to all. We are looking for similac sensitive, as our ladies are a bit gassy
Thanks!
Re: Formula in bulk?
We started doing formula in bulk once I weaned at 4 months and the girls got the green light to do formula (generic was fine). We get ours (2 huge powder cans) for cheap at Costco--it compares with Similac Advance and Enfamil Lipil.I make a big batch of it in the Dr. Brown's Formula pitcher each day and just pour and serve whenever a bottle is needed.
If you want the ready-made, they sell it also at Cosco (though I think the Advance, not the Sensitive). Otherwise, I always have the 8 oz. ready made bottles of Similac Sensitive on hand (not avail. at costco)--they are god sends for errands, traveling, etc. I get those either at Target or Wal-Mart (that's where they're cheapest, IMO).
GL and HTH
This. I also ordered a case from Diapers.com once. If you can find a good coupon or promo code, sometimes it can come out to be a little cheaper then the wholesale stores (with free shipping and no tax).
