DevonPow

Christopher is eating a carrot stick.  And he's not freaking out.

Of course, I basically had to starve him into it (gave him new food for lunch and for snack and he refused both).

He doesn't like it.  But he's eating it.  Maybe there is hope after all.

  • That is awesome! If Henry ever ate a carrot stick, I would pass out from shock. My goal right now isn't vegetables - it's sauces (pasta sauce, dressing, ketchup, etc. - what kid doesn't eat ketchup?? Oh yeah. Mine)

I posted too soon. He complained after every bite and then stopped halfway through.  Sigh.  But he didn't panic. He was just run of the mill annoying and whiney.

C will eat tomato sauce that DH makes but that's it.  In fact, I'm making lentil bolognese for dinner and I can't decide if I should just give him plain pasta (which he would and partly does live on) or mix it in and listen to him complain.  Maybe I'll go check the liquor cabinet first.

  • Yeah - we are having a pasta bake with turkey and roasted veggies tonight. I am not hopeful.
