Tyler for a boy?

I've always loved the name "Tyler" for a boy and my husband and I are considering it for our little one due in a few months. We've heard from others that it's popular for a girl's name now. Any thoughts?

    I meet a lot of boy Tylers and a few girl Taylers. I've yet to meet a girl Tyler.

    I really hope this one doesn't cross over to the girl side. I can't imagine it. Tyler is all boy to me!

    To me Tyler is a boy name.  One of my friends' names is Tyler and I think it is a good name for a boy!

    Who the heck would name a girl Tyler?

    Ditto TAYLOR for a girl or boy but not Tyler. I love it and it was on our short list for awhile.

    Tyler is absolutely a boy name. Taylor could be both, but Tyler is a boy.

    Tyler is my son's name and it suits him very well, and he loves his name. I love the nn Ty as well, and agree, its not a girl name!

    Definetly a boys name, I would have to double take the kiddo, if someone said hey this is my daughter Tyler, I would question it and ask them Taylor?

    I just do not see a girl with this name.

    Never met a Tyler that was a girl - and I'm a teacher.  I would say Tyler is always a boy's name and it's a good name at that!!

    According to the SSA, there were 11,392 boys and 233 girls named Tyler born in 2009, so it's safe to say that it is still a solid boys' name.
