I bought 2 sippy cups about 2 months ago and one DD "kind of" got the hang out of it (i.e. she was able to get a swig of her drink) but other DD was totally uninterested.
What age did your LOs start "really" using a sippy cup? My DDs are now 8 months and was just curious if this is the age to start trying it out again...
Thx
Re: Sippy Cup at what age?
around 12mo they should switch from bottle to sippie cup. With Griffin i started him with practice sippy cups around 7mo... just with water- to play with and get used to it...at 11mo i started to swap out one bottle/day with the sippie- and he was on all sippy cups by 12mo.
the twins still use bottles and are almost 13mo - i have been a slacker with them transitioning - they have used a sippy a few times and are pretty good with it- but Gray is such a fussy eater that i hate to ruin what is working with him- and like to keep him and Gibby doing the same... so i'm going much slower transitioning them to sippies this time. I'm thinking by 14mo i'll have them totally sippy.
1 yr and it took Emerson a couple of weeks to get the hang of it.
