baby acne?

DD woke up today with what looks like acne all over her face, into her hairline and on her ears. Could this be baby acne or more like a rash? It doesn't seem to be bothering her, thought I'd keep an eye on it for a day or two before rushing to the Dr.

    It's probably baby acne I remember it looking rashy.  Dd got it around 4 -5 weeks.  If you notice it anywhere else on her then I'd probably check with the pedi to make sure it wasn't a rash but it sounds like acne.

    This sounds right to me, too.  DS looked awful for a while, then it cleared up.

    Yep, it sounds like acne.  It seems to appear right around 4 weeks.  So she'd be right on schedule for that.  Caroline had it really bad for a while, but it never seemed to bother her at all.
