Hey Jodi-

I think you should write a blog. I think your a great writer, honest and witty. It would give you an outlet and something to commit too. I would totally follow it if you did and I think there are a lot of women who can relate to you. Do it, do it...

Re: Hey Jodi-

  • I think she would be great, but if she is anything like I think she is she will start it, write for a few days and then stop. (Because that is what I would do and I have come to the conclusion we are the same damn person)

    :)

DING DING DING....we have a winner!

Bebe -- THANK YOU!  If there is one thing in life that I LOVE, it is making people smile/laugh!  I would love to do that through writing.  And I often toy with the idea of writing a book.  I have a title for one, and all the chapters titled....just have to write the content!  LOL!  But I would love to write one that has more meaning than "Exposing Corporate Games One Cubicle At A Time" <---the title of my book!  ;)

  • Loading the player...
  • Wouldn't it be encouraging for you though if people left comments and you had a good following? Think about it! I hear you though I am the worst with commitment. Great book title...now get typing.
  • I agree with the other posters, you'd be a great blogger!
  • I even have the illustration worked out for the front cover.  The cubicles are arranged in a fashion that resembles hopskotch!  LOL  Or tic tac toe...either way.

I have all the chapter titles to (saved somewhere....can't remember them off the top of my head) but it's definitely a satire based on Corporate America.  It cracks ME up, that's for sure!  ;)

It would SO be encouraging if people left comments and I had a following....two thoughts on that...

    1. I pick on the people that write blogs and try to get a following.  Really?  You think you are *that* special that you write about your daily life and you want people to read.  And care.  Really!?

    2. If I wasn't the best, I wouldn't want to bother.  I guess I'm more competitive than I like to think I am.  But it would definitely become a competition for me and I would then lose my edge, so to speak.

  • Well, be sure to let me know if you change your mind;) And how do you judge whether or not your the best at something like a blog writing? ETA- yes, *trying* to get blog followers is lame and laughable. Getting followers because it is enjoyable, funny and honest and people want to read it and remember to come back is totally different IMO.
