Newbie here!

Hi all. I'm 10 weeks pregnant with my second baby. My oldest was born Chirstmas Day 2007, which makes her 2 and a half. My husband and I are very excited about the new addition!!!

My pregnancies have both very sadly been discovered just before the deaths of a parent. I told my mom about my first pregnancy and two weeks later she very unexpectedly died of a stroke. It was beyond tough but nothing has been more healing than our little girl. And now just a week after finding out about baby #2 my father in law died after a 3 month fight with cancer. I'm hoping for my husband that the birth of our next baby will be as healing for him as it was for me with my mother.

But besides that our lives are happy and filled with joy. I'm a graphic designer but will stay home full time in a couple of months. And my husband is a Physician Assistant at MD Anderson Cancer Center.

I hope to learn a lot from these boards and maybe even make some friends!

Congrats on the pregnany! I also have three DS's! SO I lurk on SAHM board. I was pregnant when my one and only brother passed and it was very hard I am so sorry for your loss. I also lost my father.
