Cramping After Urination?

Ahh so scary.  So I just experienced the worst cramp ever and it began as I was emptying my bladder, felt like a period cramp intense and pain in my leg and hip.  After laying down for 10 minutes it is finally starting to subside.  I have a doctors appt tomorrow so I am going to ask them to do a urinalysis Im thinking possibly a bladder infection? anyone else experience cramping after urinating?

    I cramp when I have a full bladder and right after I empty it. (light cramping only)

    I do get sharp pains every once in a while also.  They are usually off to one side or the other and last about 5 minutes.  From what I have heard these are RLP.

    Sorry, what does RLP mean?  Just curious.  I looked in the glossary, but didn't see it.

    RLP=round ligament pains

    I get some cramping like PP said before and after urination, but not too strong. Hopefully your doctor and see if you have a urinary tract infection tommorow. Good luck!
