I cannot get the clicky poll to post so please give me your opinions without it. We have narrowed down our list to 3 names however I am leaning toward one as it uses family names ( Elaina Grace "Lainey). Our 5 year old daughter is Hadley Elizabeth . Which do you like best : Which is the best sibling name for Hadley.
Elaina Grace "Lainey"
Juliette Elise
Lila Simone
Thanks!
Re: Down to 3 girl names
Elaina Grace!
But honestly, I would just call her Elaina. I wouldn't use the nn Lainey (or plan to anyway).

I like Juliette Elise best, but I prefer the spelling "Juliet". Next I like Lila Simone. Not a big fan of Elaina.
I love the name Hadley, BTW. I don't think any of the names you listed really "go" with Hadley as a sibling name, though.
Love them all.
Order of pref: Elaina, Juliette, and Lila.
LOVE IT!
I agree. Hadley seems more trendy while all the rest of them are classic names. Personally I'd pick Juliet (spelled this way) although I also love Elena (spelled this way) - but I wouldn't call her Lainey, because Elena is gorgeous on its own.
Same here
I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.

I think all of them are beautiful! I like Elaina Grace the best, and I love the nickname Lainey.
I don't know how set you are on the fn-mn combos, but I think Elaina Simone is another great option.

Thanks everyone. It is such a tough decision.
I actually prefer the Elena spelling as well but my grandmother was Elaine hence the Elaina. I like the option of calling her Lainey while she is young and letting her grow into Elaina.
I also like the suggestion of Elaina Simone.. Grace was my DH's grandmother's middle name so I was trying to use two family names. With Hadley we both just really liked the name and although it is still not popular it was definitely not popular 5 years ago and while "trendy" I feel it is also a classic name , not too out there.
We may be making this decision in the delivery room. We will have to see what name fits her once we see her:) Thanks again for all of the input. I appreciate it.
this!
Lila Simone is stunning! To me, Lila is the only one that "fits" with Hadley. (Love Hadley, btw!)
The others are NMS. Elaina/Lainey especially looks and sounds very "eighties" to me.
1. Elaina Grace
2. Lila Simone
3. Juliette Elise
All in all I think you have great taste in names!
My mother in law chose all her kids names based on whether or not she liked the nickname and that was 30 years ago.
I have known since I was in HS what I would name my first daughter and what her nickname would be... so for us its not really a "trend"
