Wagon Recs?

We're thinking of getting Stella a wagon for her 1st b-day.  I didn't realize they are so spendy, but we figure she and her lil sis will get a lot of use out of it.  I want a 2 seater so they can both ride in it once Hadley is old enough.  I'm looking for wagon suggestions.  I figured we'd end up with a Radio Flyer, but I came across this one on Amazon and it looks pretty good.  Input?

Re: Wagon Recs?

  • Not sure about that one from Amazon.  I can vouch for Radio Flyers though because we had quite a few of them at all the hospitals I've worked at so I know that they are durable.

  • I also can vouch for Radio Flyer wagons.  We have this one (can get a canopy as well) and it is awesome.  The seats fold down to give it a flat bed, or you can leave the seats up and strap your LOs in.  It is very durable and easy to pull.  It has cupholders, too!

Thanks!!!  This is the one we're going to get.

  • My mother and father gave R- this one for her first birthday.  The wood sides and back/front can be removed.  She loves to climb in and out of it.  She also likes to ride in it.  I think once she starts walking she can push it around.

  • I'm a little late here, and it looks like you probably already made up your mind, but... I was thinking of getting H a wagon too, so I bookmarked this post: https://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/38931821/ShowThread.aspx#38931821

Seems like step 2 step had a lot of popular wagons and it also seemed like some people really liked having a cover for the wagon.

  • I ended up buying the Radio Flyer that was recommended yesterday.  I took advantage of the sale @ Toys R Us.  I saw there is a removable umbrella that can go with it.  I may end up getting that later.
