Silly question re: Mayo

What kind of mayonnaise would be the closest to what Wegman's uses on their subs? Haha!

Evan will eat a huge portion of a Wegman's sub - I'll get an assorted with all the fixins except peppers...and he LOVES it! BUT...I have tried to mimic it at home and it does not go so well. I'm wondering if I use mayo (I usually don't at home - but will get light [as in a little, not low-fat] mayo from Wegman's.)

It's not hellman's - it's not miracle whip....maybe Kraft?

Is there a Wegmans brand mayo? If so - I bet they do use that...one giant tub of it (gag!) I'll prob call just in case. tx!

hmm.. Didn't Melanie say her sis worked in the food dept at wegmans? Maybe she knows.. I also would guess wegmans brand too.

Yup - it's Wegmans. And sub lady thought I was nuts.

We don't have Wegman's here, but when we go to ROC we usually stop and get one to eat.  OMG yum!  Especially the bread.  Awesome.

Oh yeah - they are totally the best subs ever. They're actually Dibella's Subs - so maybe the bread recipe I guess? I LIVED on DiBellas when I was pregnant with Evan since they closed the Wegmans by my work. Mmmm...I think I know what we're having for dinner tonight! Haha!
