At one point I thought twins would be great. You could get it all over with at once. But since my friend had them (they're 6 now) and since I've had just one of my own, I have had to change my thinking on that. One at a time is plenty for me.
BTW - Before my first doc appointment, my mom was asking what if I had twins growing in me. I really don't know what I would do. We have always thought that one of us kids would have twins since my grandma is a twin, but so far out of 4 pregnancies, only singletons.
You girls are too funny. I would love to have twins since I don't know how easy it will be for us to have a second child. Neither one of us have any twins in our family other than by the use of fertility drugs though, so, my chances are slim.
We'll see what happens on the 19th!!

Is that when your NT is? That's the same day as mine!

How funny is that??? We can look forward to it together! I still have to make sure I'll be getting an ultrasound. At 10 weeks and 4 days along....I sure hope there's an ultrasound involved.

Funny you mention that...When I told my mom that I had to take progesterone...she said "Does that increases the chances to release more than one egg and have multiples?...it will be sooo cool if you had triplets"...Then she went on telling me all the plans she will have and how she will buy us the 3 car seats and all the little things...I told her to shut up and that if she didn't want her daughter selling her body in some corner at night to be able to feed her kids that she shouldn't even joke with the triplets.

We thought the same thing since none of my cousins have had twins (there's only one girl cousin besides me for that first round of kids) and our grandfather was a twin (his twin died a few days after birth, probably in part because it was 1914 honestly). This one isn't a twin and we'll just have to see if the next round would be. Won't know till it happens. We also thought since I didn't get pregnant until I was in my early 30s that it would increase the risk. My other female cousin had her kids in her mid 20s.
Hmm, wasn't there another former DW bride? One of the photog-ladies who was pregnant with twins? I can't seem to find her on FB anymore though, and I can't recall the name...
I've always been afraid that I would have twins. Twins run on my side of the family and my DH is an identical twin (and they have twins all over their family). So far just single babies for us and his siblings. But his twin brothers wife is pregnant right now too and due 3 months after me. The twins are so excited to have kids that will be so close in age.
I always thought I wouldn't want twins but my MIL said they were her easiest babies. She said from the day they were born they always entertained each other. And seeing how close they have always been (BIL keeps trying to talk me into moving to PA and building a house across the street from him. My DH is all for it, I'm just not sure how I feel about it yet.) They always complain about being twins though.
I never thought twins ran in my family, but last week my cousin gave birth to twins, and this week I found out one of my other cousins is pregnant with twins! Part of me is terrified by twins, but part of me would love it too, so if in 200 years when we're finally ready to TTC no one else has had twins on here, I'll totally volunteer
Yes this is who I was refering to! I followed her on Pregosaur after Jaye posted about it. Her sn is Bibliosaur, she also continues to post over on Littlesaur.

Katy! Katy!!
After reading a blog of a former DW bride who had twins, I hope it isn't me!
Although, maybe I do, because I think that's the only way I'm getting 2 kids out of my husband! lol.
