I just received an invitation to one of my cousins' wedding. His bride's name is Ausia Claire Fields. I'm assuming it is pronounced "AW-zh?" like Asia with a soft A sound. Interesting, or hideous? Either way, it's NMS: )
My initial reaction was that it looks like a cross between Australia and Asia. It's a place in Pakistan and in Bangladesh...maybe she was named after one of those?
I don't know, honestly. I haven't met her yet. We live across the country from my cousin--LOL, actually, he lives in Tucson, so you're more likely to have met her than me! I'm guessing with the last name Fields she isn't foreign, though.

Oh, and I don't like it.
