HSG or IUI...which hurts more?

I just finished my HSG (all clear) and was wondering what an IUI feels like. Does it hurt as much? My HSG wasn't that bad. I actually think the waiting was the worst. I did have some cramps but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. What do you ladies think?

    You won't even feel the IUI.  It's similar to getting a pap.  GL!

    My IUI's haven't hurt at all. My HSG was the most painful medical procedure I've had to go through to date!

    For me, definitely the HSG.

    My first IUI was uncomfortable, but nothing compared to the HSG.  I will say that I took a valium with my second IUI b/c it relaxed me more.  I tended to tense up making the IUI more difficult than it needed to be.

    HSG is way worse...  I have discomfort during IUIs as well because I have a very difficult cervix.  They still use a catheder to penetrate the cervix so if you didn't have a problem with that, you'll be fine!

    No comparison. HSG was way painful for me, and the IUIs feel like nothing.

    An IUI doesn't feel anything like a HSG :)

    The IUI is like a pap. I just felt a little tickling feeling.

    My hsg was definitely worse than the iui.  The iui is just like a pap, but with the hsg I had cramping that was pretty painful.

    HSG by a long shot. 

    IUI feels like a pap smear, but faster. There is a twinge of pain when they insert the cath, but it lasts for maybe, 20 seconds.  

    After my IUIs, I didn't feel anything. The dr office said that I can take a tylenol (no aspirin, no other pain killers) about 30 mins before the procedure to take the edge off.

    For me, HSG (not painful, just uncomfortable).

    IUI didn't hurt at all...very similar to a pap
