Infertility

Hello from Ohio...I'm new out here.

Hi. I just discovered today this board was out here and I wanted to introduce myself.  My name is Sue and I am 36 from Ohio.  My DH & I will be married 5 yrs. this coming September and together 12 yrs in October.

I was diagnosed with PCOS in April of 2008 and we started TTC in August of 2008 without success.  We started seeing Dr. Bopp in Fort Wayne, IN in October of 2008 and discovered my progestrone was low and my DH has low to no semen.   I had a dye test for checking my tubes in December of 2008 and that came back there were no issues with my tubes.   The doctor placed my husband on Clomid and we tried for a few months without success.  Due to my husband's job and stress in that we didn't try much throughout 2009.

In August of 2009 he went to one doctor to see if he could get a mass taken off his upper leg area but the doctor wouldn't operate due to my husband's weight (another long story in itself).  So in January of 2010 we found another doctor who would do the surgery and in April of 2010 my husband had a mass taken off (it was never cancerous) his upper leg and after a few months of healing from that we are now going back to see Dr. Bopp in Fort Wayne and starting pretty much all over again to see what my husband's semen count is and see what needs to be done with my progesterone levels.

I am sorry this is so long and probably boring, but I just wanted to introduce myself before asking to many questions out here.

 Thanks, Sue

  • Hey Sue! I hang on the Indy board sometimes, but not really much in the last year. I am sorry you didn't know about this board. It is really very helpful. I see Dr. Colver, but here in Indy. I have PCOS and progesterone issues as well as weird prolactin levels. DH has MFI, low count and morph issues.

I hope the surgery helps your husband and you can try soon. If you have any questions about IUIs let me know. We are doing IVF with ISCI in Sept.

I am going to look you up on FB. We have mutual friends so I have "seen" you.

    PAIF and SAIF Always Welcome!
