Sorry if this has been asked before, but I know that morning sickness is supposed to either subside or go away starting the second trimester, but with twins... when does it actually go away? I'm about 10 weeks now and over the past week it seems like my symptoms have been worsening, I couldn't even work for a few days! I guess I'm just looking for a silver lining at the end of the tunnel! When did everyone else's M/S, tiredness, heartburn ease up with multiples?

Re: M/S Question...
Everyone and every pregnancy is different. I had severe M/S with both my singleton and my triplets. With my singleton, I wasn't able stop Zofran until after 20 weeks. I went a little bit longer on Zofran with my triplets.
I have to warn you though - the M/S does let up but for me, the heartburn becomes worse.
Hang in there!
Exactly this - with my singleton I had m/s for 30+ weeks, but with the twins I stopped after only about 12wks. Hang in there...
My m/s lasted until 13wks or so. until about 15 wks i'd throw up every few days. Then that went away and i got heartburn..i still have horrible heartburn now and assume i'll have it until I deliver. Zantac is helping it though. I'm really hoping the m/s doesn't come back in the 3rd tri like alot of other women. Oh and my m/s got worse at 10wks too. I think you have a surge or something.
Apparently it's common to have m/s until 16-20wks sometimes with twins but as you can see that's not always true
At around 18 weeks I went from vomiting multiple times a day to a few times a week. The zofran made my liver function tests elevated, so I stopped taking it around that time.
Now that I am in third trimester, I am again throwing up much of my food. But the only difference is that now I don't feel nauseous - I just have bad heartburn and limited space in my stomach. The food just comes back.
You will hopefully feel better......it may just be closer to 20 weeks. Hang in there. It is absolutely worth it, and you CAN do it!
