Highest dose of Femara your RE will prescribe?

I believe the highest dose my RE will prescribe is 7.5 mg. I saw on a PCOS message board that someone got a BFP with 10 mg. I'm on 5mg right now and am not having the best response.

What's the highest dose your RE will prescribe? If so I need to mentally prepare myself for injectables. TIA!

I am starting to figure out that what meds doctors use is very subjective. For instance my RE will not prescribe Femara (something about using for fertility is off label, but not sure about the reasoning). Another RE I talked to when we were looking for REs won't prescribe Clomid b/c he thinks it harms more than it helps.

The most my RE would do is 7.5mg.

I'm not positive what the max my RE would prescribe is, but for the study I'm in the max is 7.5mg Femara or 150mg Clomid.
