Yep, DS had hives right before he turned 1 and they never seemed to bother him.

Yes. For sure. I recently had a bad reaction to something and had hives pretty bad with no itching.

Definitely. My daughter had a reaction and it was red but it didnt even seem to bother her...only me! lol

Yes. DD2 gets them ALL. THE.TIME when she is figting a virus. Normally they do not itch for her.
