3rd Trimester

Nausea in the 3rd Trimester

Anyone else experiencing nausea in the 3rd trimester.

I had absolutely no morning sickness in 1st or 2nd tri so this is really strange...but for the last few days I've been feeling a little queasy.

Don't know what to make of it.

Re: Nausea in the 3rd Trimester

  • I had it pretty bad the first 2 months. It finally went away but now just two weeks ago its back with a vengeance. It hasn't been every day, but if I eat first thing in the morning when I wake up I get sick.

Yes-yes...ugh. I didn't have any morning sickness during my first trimester and probably at around 33/34 weeks (I'm 35 now), the nausea hit me like a ton of bricks. I've had it every day. It is particularly bad in the morning and whenever I try to drink a lot of water (I feel so dehydrated these days, so I've really been trying to be good about the water thing).
  • I get nauseas randomly. Just comes on out of the blue. Don't usually have other symptoms either. Who knows ... Hormones?

  • Yes.  I had it very badly in the first trimester from about weeks 6-14.  It was constant nausea with vomitting almost nightly around dinner and sometimes in the middle of the night.

Since I hot third trimester the nausea is back, but this time not constant.  When I do get it though, it totally sucks, and is usually accompanied by more vomitting.  I so thought I was done with all of that!

  • Yes - my Dr. said it is because your body is producing a new hormone needed for breast feeding. She said it was perfectly normal. I didn't have it with my first, though.
