The area where I'm from has small community fireworks displays all over the city. I'm wondering if there's anything similar here? I don't want to drag DS all the way downtown to a giant shindig with a million people and crazy parking, but I would like to show him some fireworks. Anyone know of small, local displays? Thanks!
Re: where to see fireworks?
I was searching and searching for info about this festival we went to near bunker hill. Although I wasn't sure if it had fireworks, it was awesome. Had free food (burgers, watermelon, snowcones) games and facepainting, firetrucks, etc. Addie loved it and we went every year we were there. it even starts with a parade.
I finally found the website and it says it's today until 1. https://www.villagefiredept.com/VIF/Welcome.html
so really I'm no help but wanted you to know i tried!

Tomball has a huge display every year, I think Magnolia will have their own this year too (though Magnolia is not listed on the link above, I did read it in the paper). Splashtown and Sam Houston Race Park also have displays.
So just depends where you live, but I'm sure you can find something close by.
there's a festival and firework show in kingwood tomorrow (www.kingwood.com - go to events page ). there's also a firework show in pearland (www.cityofpearland.com - go to events page)
good luck!
Thanks for your help, guys!
