Spammers are weird--go go squeeze fruit

https://community.thenest.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/37181042.aspx

Looking through my old posts, found this. It's happening a lot around here--I know pampers and gdiapers are ones that have done that. The weirdest part is that she joined 3 months earlier, but that was her first post. Seriously, they must just search around the internet looking for mentions of their products.

I think you're right about them doing an internet search looking for mention of their product. That one isn't so weird since its maybe a smaller companyand just establishing itself?  Pampers though?  I haven't seen it, but that is weird.

Well, that must have kept them quite busy.

  • That is one of the hottest career trends right now.  Many major companies pay big bucks to internet saavy people to monitor their e-reputations.  It's a booming industry.  As a matter of fact, my DH's fortune 50 employer is hiring like crazy for their "Media" department and specifically they are looking for people to manage their reputation on social networking websites.  It's actually a legitimate, well paying work at home job for SAHM's.
  • What the companies don't get is that it makes them look like megadouchebags. It's not allowed on the sites, nor is it appreciated by most of us.
