I would pick the cook. It'd be nice if I enjoyed cooking - I certainly enjoy the art of sitting down to a nice meal. But I am no good at it - at least at this point in my life, trying to teach myself and take care of 2 kids while I'm at it. Even if I make a good dish, I can't seem to pull everything together at the same time for a timely dinner.
I'd take cleaning toilets over cooking, sadly.
If you could have a free maid or cook, which would you pick?

I would LOVE a maid. I hate having a messy/unclean house and I can not keep up with everything.
Yes! I love to cook but hate all of the clean up afterwards. I'll spend all day in the kitchen as long as someone else is doing all of the cleaning.

Maid. No hesitation whatsoever on that choice.

House cleaner.
I love the idea of someone cleaning up after me. Probably because I feel that all I do is clean up after others.
Me with my littlest.
Cook. We eat almost all freshly prepared foods (ie. meats, veggies, salads, eggs, etc) so I spend a ton of time washing, chopping, peeling, prepping, making salad dressings, etc.
I'd love to have someone else research the recipes, prepare the meals, do the shopping, cooking and cleaning up.
I'll clean a potty once a week instead of the kitchen three times per day

Cook for this very reason. I dont mind actually cooking the meal but I loathe planning a menu, coming up with new things to try so we dont get bored eating the same things over and over, getting the recipes and then grocery shopping.
House Cleaner - didn't even have to think about it for a second.
Goodness, I so want someone to come clean for me!!!
